Consultancy and Coaching for EYS, Schools and Other Professionals
We provide capacity-building services to early years services and kinders through the School Readiness Funding (SRF), available on the Menu under ‘coaching’ and we work with schools through the Schools Mental Health Fund and Menu (SMHFM), available on the Menu under ‘Additional Mental Health and Wellbeing Professionals’.
In consultation with early years services, kinders and schools, we can provide a tailored program to support and address one or more of the 'priority areas' or 'tiers' identified by the SRF and SMHFM, respectively.
Options for delivery of services include, but are not limited to:

One-off professional development sessions for educators, teachers and other professionals

One-off information sessions for parents/carers

In-session mentoring sessions (block of sessions or ongoing)

Out-of-session mentoring and reflective practice sessions (block of sessions or ongoing) for educators, teachers and other professionals
Focus areas of services include, but are not limited to, supporting teachers, LSOs and other staff to:

promote school readiness and engagement from a social-emotional perspective

promote play skill development and social skills

enhance capacity to respond to big emotions and challenging behaviours (emotional regulation)

deepen understanding about the link between child development, the brain, play and learning

increase trauma-informed practice

identify and respond to child risk and safety issues

enhance individual and team communication skills, leadership skills and wellbeing

work with neurodivergent children and families

facilitate group play therapy
